going west and back

Less than 24h to go until we leave for the U S of A ... I hope we'll have a good time and I will report back with some very nice pics taken with our new camera, the S5 IS ;). I hope I don't lose (too) many IQ points during this trip. Argh ... I can't help it ... I'm a xenophobe ... well, actually I'm kidding but I will try not catch obesity ... oops there I did it again. What I am trying to say is that I will try not to start thinking about invading other countries for their oil ... hmmm ... I think it's best for me to stop this post right here... I'll be reporting back in 2 weeks when we return from the land of the freedom fries ... I mean the free ... land of the free ... geesh...

The Dorkey Godfather

There's a very nice picture for ya ... There's the beautiful Maya on the right, our goddaughter. She's sleeping ... Then, on the left you can see Andreea (my beautiful wife whom I love very much) holding her. There is little Maya again in her arms ... And then ... then you can see the biggest dork-ball goof you've ever seen ... Yup, it's me in Goofy mode, the dorky godfather, as I would like to call myself ... no resemblance to Marlon Brando here ... I'll take a picture of myself flexing my muscles so I get to be scary again ...

Deja Vu ... I think I've seen this before ... only it was a smaller poop pile

I've seen a crap movie ... Are you experiencing Deja Vu? Well, let's try that again ... I've seen a crap movie ... Did I already say that?

I was sitting around, astonished by the crappiness of this movie, trying to imagine how in the world I could avoid using the word 'crap' over and over again while talking about this movie. But, then again, the writers didn't spend much time trying to avoid making it such a big crap, so why should I bother?
First things first ... What in the name of our almighty Lord is the connection/link/relation between this movie and the feeling of Deja Vu??? What, oh, what does this movie have to do with the feeling described as Deja Vu so that it should have this title? Well, except the "another crap movie" feeling, absolutely Nada.
Now, that we got that out of the way ... How in the name of our almighty Lord can someone send a laser beam through a display screen? I've tried that all day after seeing the movie, and none of the news presenters blinked an eye! What am I doing wrong here, people?? It worked just fine in the movie !!
How many PHDs does it require to come up with a bigger IQ than a law enforcement officer in the USA? Can we send a note? NO! Are you sure? NO! OMG, thank you law enforcement officer, or should I say, OMG what a humongous crap script!

And, leaving all the technical issues aside, the movie emphasizes heavily on the idea that going back in time doesn't change a thing. You've already done whatever you are going to do back in time and there's no changing the outcome of it. So strange things happen, and get explained later in a somewhat surprisingly consistent manner ... You cannot change a thing and that's that ... But then something happens near the end of the movie (something crappy of course). It's like someone said 'I give up, just save them all please', so everybody gets saved in a very very crappy and inconsistent manner ... ah well.

Too bad the fact that this movie is pure crap really can't be changed, not even by going back in time ... I've seen a crap movie ... again ...

oh my Evan ...

Well ... I can't really hide it ... I was expecting this movie to be a BIG pile of poop ... I was surprised by the fact that I laughed during the movie. In fact, I was so surprised that the silliness in the ending didn't bother me at all. All in all I don't feel sorry I paid to see it, and i suppose this is what matters most. We, again, get monkeys for comic relief ... they work every time. Especially during the credits, with the break-dancing monkey. Ah well ... back to work ...

In unrelated news make sure you check out this.

Trekking ... Star Trekking ...

Although it may seem like it, I didn't make this myself in paint ... it's actually the new poster for the next Star Trek movie that's coming out next year ... late next year as it seems. If you peeked on my Mully blog you may have figured out I am somewhat of a Star Trekkie, so I am looking forward to this, especially since J.J. Lost Abrams has something to do with this ... although the script is quite obvious. The Enterprise breaks down and they crash land on a tropical paradise planet, except things are not quite what they seem. I think we all know what happens next... Oh, and the ship is separated in two before it crashes...

The Dark Knight is really coming ... soon ...

First of all, as a reminder, I brought you the super secret sneak peek trailer months ago ... now those suckers from different movie sites got to see something that's not even half as good as what I posted ... but, it's Dark Knight news so here it is ...

Harry .... Dirty Harry

I like Harry Potter ... he's my kind of guy (NOT)... Get them chicks diggin' ya', get your 'wet' business done with them, and then dump'em in the middle of poop trouble. Then pull out your wand light saber thingie and start blowing s#it up, cause you just feel like doin' it! Lot of $hit got blown up, and that's what I like in a movie ... BIG colorful EXPLOSIONS. And I loved them light sabering fights in the end. Haven't had this much fun since Obi-Wan got sliced and diced by Darth Vader in Star Wars IV. Of course, I nearly fell asleep during the movie for a couple of times, but the ending woke me up just in time to go home.

And I can't believe I missed posting about Die Hard four point zero... Now, THAT's a movie full of explosions. The U S of A can sleep untroubled with this guy on the job. This guy is so tough he would send Superman running home for his money with his cape shoved inside his butt. There's just no thing and no one that would stand between John McLane and the peace and comfort of the American people ... not even his own self ... get it? ... eaahh ... maybe when you'll see how he kills the bad guy (I hope I didn't just spoil the ending for you) you'll get what I'm talking about ... Long live John McLane!

Hurray, for the third time in a row.

Apparently this year hasn't been so good to third installments ... Like Shrek the throw up third ... Spider crap man 3 ... and so on ... But good things do get a third anniversary that sends them thriving towards the next ones. And this is what we got yesterday! Three years of marriage and we're looking forward to the 100th. It's triple hurray and I really want to use the opportunity to declare once again my love for my beautiful, stunningly extraordinary wife! Me loves you mucho mucho! :-*

Michael Bay made The Island of Crap

I can't believe I actually hoped that Transformers would be a good movie ... Would have I seen The Island, such a big mistake I would have done not ... Sorry bout that ... I'm still just a little puzzled about how the plucking hell can you enter as a PRISONER in a super secret mega guarded facility with a GUN (yes, I just said a GUN) in your freaking TROUSERS !?!?!?! ... And that's just one small very small plot hole compared to other plot CANYONS that we get from what I now like to call The Island of Crap. That's how the movie should have been named. I just cannot believe what a retard Michael Bay is ... it is simply and purely beyond my comprehension. And I don't even want to start with the acting of the female character ... like, omfg, I understand she was voted sexiest woman alive by a bunch of morons, but her acting is a lame joke.

Watching this movie was pure pain ...

Never again will I see a Michael Bay movie ... maybe just Transformers2...

I didn't land on my back ...

Some people asked me if I landed on my back in the picture from the Vacation post ... well, actually, I didn't, and here is the backdive on "tape" ...
